The Quality Of The Single Origin Espresso

By James Cox

Coffee is probably the most popular beverage today, and for a good reason. It's not only aromatic and tasty, it can also wake you up and make you feel better. Some of the most popular blends are widely known, and some are reserved for the true lovers. Recently, there are several single origin espresso varieties that became quite popular. With these, you can tell where they are coming from and they are made using only one coffee variety.

As it was said, several coffee blends are widely popular today. They were carefully designed to meet particular consumers' needs. If it was a music composition, it would be played by several great artists. Each playing single part, together these artists produce one beautiful composition, balanced and perfect in any way, even if some of them have entirely different qualities. Together, they work perfectly.

Single origin coffee is something entirely different. Here, there is only one musician on the stage, and this one has to be perfect in his performance, because you will be able to separate each and every tone. In this case there are no place for mistakes. Because of that, the person preparing such coffee needs to know his job, in order of providing the desired result.

When it comes to espresso, both solutions have their own qualities. The biggest advantage of various blends is that you basically know what to expect, because these blends were made for some particular purposes. Single origins are different. They have their own characteristics, and those cannot be disguised or balanced using the qualities of other varieties. You have to try them and learn to love them as they are.

The best way for starting using these beans is with the old good ordinary espresso. This way you will get the original taste of the variety of your choice. Of course, one experienced barista will know how to emphasize the best qualities, using the amount of water or the pressure, accordingly. In any case, this is the whole new territory to discover, and there will be some surprises on the way.

Well. You have to be open-minded. The fact is that most people expect certain taste, something that they are already used to. Here, anything is possible. There are some varieties with chocolate notes, some will be more fruity, some really spicy. Some will rather choose delicate, soft flavors, some will enjoy in robust taste, it's up to you to make your own choice.

Anyway, you will probably enjoy discovering these new and exciting tastes, these lovely new, and still old and familiar aromas. Any real coffee lover will appreciate this, because of the undeniable quality and originality of these lovely beans. The whole process might be one really interesting experience, and there are so many lovely new tastes to find and enjoy in.

It's hard to say which one to choose. As with other espresso varieties, every type has its own customers. The best approach might be to try them all first, and decide later. Maybe you could design your own particular blends, using some or those single origins, or one for every particular purpose, one for your morning espresso, one for your cappuccino, for example. Have a really great time and enjoy in each and every cup.
